Often times, parents lose confidence and connection with their children during the teen years. When the teen years hit, the role as parent changes and often times parents don’t know what to do. Some parents react, some parents ignore, and some parents wait it out. The teen years can be challenging.

At Tools 4 Teens Life Coaching, we give parents the tools to enhance communication and improve family dynamics. We work together and support each other through the process. Parents learn the skills of being a coach to their teenager, which helps to create a loving, respectful relationship between parent and teen.

How does it work?

We first meet to discuss the parent needs and desires, to learn more about coaching, and to see if it’s a good fit for both client and coach.

We then determine which program is best for you.

Typically, a 3-month commitment is advised to ensure change happens.

Teen Tool Kit for Parents
This class offers simple, yet powerful tools to use daily with your children (whatever age they are). The class focuses on teenagers, yet these tools work well with pre-teens and older children, too.

The Workshop is given in two parts: Part I and Part II with a 2-week break in between to allow for parents to practice the tools learned. The information is given to parents in a simple, concise form. Group conference calls are provided in between sessions to ensure parent success.

The Class is offered within a six-week time period, meeting for 90 minutes each week. Each class has a different focus and allows time for practice and support. What is special about the class is the additional parent support within the class. We create a community that  fosters open conversation and encouragement. Weekly homework is given to practice the tools given.

Abundant Family Program
This  is an all-family program that includes individual coaching, parent group coaching and family group coaching.
Each program is unique and built on the needs and desires of the family. The benefit of the Abundant Family Program is that all members receive tools to support them in their personal life as well as in their family life. We work with single-parent families, divorced, and every other kinds of family, too! This is an amazing program – true abundance is gained and shared as a family.

The Passionate Family Program
This program is offered as a Bonus for The Abundant Family Program or can be a stand-alone program for the entire family. Each member goes through The Passion Test™ and then the family, as one, goes through the same process. The family identifies what matters most to The Family as a whole. Each member contributes to the process and each voice is heard.  As a result, the family gains clarity on what the family unit stands for and represents. Each person is empowered as an individual and family member. The process is easy & fun with powerful, bonding results.

Individual Coaching Programs are more personalized to your situation. Parents are given coaching tools to use with their child and learn positive ways to overcome obstacles, embrace their life and to be an empowered parent.
The Passion Test is also included in the Individual Coaching Program. Parents discover their passions and gain clarity on what matters most to them.
Forming new habits takes time, thus a three-month commitment is required. There is an option of meeting 2, 3 or 4 times per month.
